Whangarei Library 3.30 Flash recently published an anthology of flash fiction, including a number of micros (stories of 100 words or less).   The group is following up on the publication by holding an afternoon workshop for writers interested in microfiction from 1-4pm on Sunday 10 April 2022 at ONEONESIX, Bank St, Whangarei.

We’re particularly keen to introduce younger writers to this form of short fiction, and encourage them to enter the National Flash Fiction Day competition which closes on April 22, and Micro Madness, a free international event in June. I’ve attached a Word version of the workshop flyer, and would be grateful if you could share it with  your students.

We will be following Covid red level guidance and will require a vaccine pass. We’re aware that if the Covid guidance changes we may have to defer the workshop. We will be in contact if this occurs.
